YOUTH SOFTBALL 2026 Season

Youth Softball is a CBBCA Program offered in cooperation with other communities in West Carleton through the WC Minor Softball Association. Teams are available for children and youth from 4 to 18 years old.

Full Schedule will be available once the teams are set for the respective communities. In past years T-Ball has been Mondays and U9 Wednesdays but the schedule can change.

TBALL - LEARN TO PLAY

A great way for the wee one to learn to play the game. Designed for children ages 4–6, T-ball introduces the basic fundamentals of the game—hitting, throwing, catching, and running bases—in a simplified, non-competitive format. Fee is $45 for the season one practice a week

YOUTH SOFTBALL U9 to U18

The season runs from early May to the end of June. Each week the boys and girls practice or play on two evenings with one of our area’s other communities; younger age groups play one night per week starting at 6:30 pm while older group practice up to two nights a week and start at 8:00 pm. Some teams may be based in neighboring communities if there are insufficient registrations. The fee is $70- $80 (depending on age)

Team sizes are limited, placement is based on registration date. Full cage helmets are recommended for all players, they are required at older ages. If we are unable to place your child on their requested team you will be offered your choice of an alternate team or a full refund.

Registration ends April 5th. Please ensure you & your friends register by this date. Once teams have been created and the schedule is finalized, parents will be contacted with more information.

MANDATORY CBBCA Youth Sports Waiver for Families

Parents or guardians MUST complete the waiver and understand Rowan’s Law training below (one per family is suitable). Waiver can be filled and emailed to youthball@cbbca.ca or brought to first practice. Players are not permitted to play without a waiver being completed.

Ontario parents, youth, coaches, and convenors are required to complete an Ontario Rowan’s Law registration and CBBCA code of conduct and CBBCA Concussion Protocol review to register for sporting programs; it takes about 30 minutes and is available by clicking the “Programs & Rowan’s Law”. It is necessary to review and understand Rowan’s law each year.
