Volunteer Opportunity: Bookkeeper
Constance & Buckham’s Bay Community Association (CBBCA)

The Constance Bay Community Association is seeking a Volunteer Bookkeeper to assist the Treasurer with the day-to-day financial operations of the Association. The ideal candidate will have experience using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities (in support of the Treasurer):

  • Accounts Payable (A/P): Processing invoices using Dext, Plooto, and QBO

  • Accounts Receivable (A/R): Invoicing for Hall Rentals in QBO

  • Payroll Processing

  • Credit Card Receipts: Posting receipts using Dext

  • Bank Transactions: Matching and reconciling transactions in QBO

Time Commitment:

  • Up to 5 hours per week (flexible)

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online

  • Familiarity with Dext and Plooto is an asset (training can be provided)

  • Organized, reliable, and community-oriented

This volunteer role is an excellent opportunity to support the Treasurer and contribute your skills to the success of a local community organization.

Programs & Partnerships

🎉 Do you Love Bringing People Together

The Programs & Partnerships Coordinator is the behind-the-scenes volunteer who acts as the liaison between the Community Centre’s ongoing classes and workshops and the artists, and instructors who run them. You’ll keep everything streamlined for all of the Center’s
programs and partnerships.
There will be a bit of budgeting thrown in.
