The Constance Bay Community Market (CBCM) was created to provide a venue for community to connect and for local farmers, gardeners, artisans, craftspeople, and service providers to showcase and sell their products and services. The CBCM is a non-profit marketplace managed and operated by a volunteer board of directors, a group of support volunteers and a manager.

Join us for a review of 2025 and our plans for the future.
All positions are up for election., and we are looking for leads and team members for many our committees.
Here are some of the Committee Chair and Volunteer positions available.
IT GURU(s): Help our team maintain and improve our website and other systems
Operations & Maintenance Committee Chair: Lead our amazing team of staff to help maintain and improve the centre.
Lawn Mowers: Does the word Zero Turn stir up feelings. You can come an use ours to make beautiful lawns any time. Volunteer to be part of our maintenance team.
Outside and Inside Maintenance Volunteers: Would you love to help us with: mowing the lawn, painting, building storage or other general up keep, like fixing our chairs and table. Lots of different work for handy people.
Communications Committee Chair: Lead our communication team, you don’t have to do it all! We are looking for someone to build a team of doers.
Graphic Designers: Are you loving AI graphic Design. Put that love to good use and help our Communication Chair with building impactful designs
Food & Beverage Committee Chair: We have an amazing kitchen that is being under utilized, we are looking for someone with a vision to bring the kitchen to life and support our amazing team of bar volunteers.
Food Class Lead: Want to see the centre offer amazing food and beverage classes. Chat to us about planning a class.
Special Event Volunteers: We are looking for some keeners to take over as lead some of our best events like our Santa Parade. To free up our Special Events Committee Chair to bring more great events. We have an awesome team to help you.

Due to The Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA) act changes the CBBCA has had to fully re-write our by-laws. We will be looking for comments and be approving these by-laws at the meeting.
Please view the attached proposed new by-laws which have been drafted on our behalf by Mann Lawyers who specialize in Non-for Profit & Charity Law.

Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses takes place at Lovers’ Landing Beach Hotel, a popular wedding destination that has acquired a certain mystique. Audrina Brown recently inherited the hotel from her late father, and quickly discovers that her Uncle Bubba, the hotel manager, is running a variety of “extra-curricular activities” (all illegal). It’s a mystery. It’s a love story. It’s a new farce by Michael and Susan Parker, the same authors who wrote Sex Please We’re Sixty!
